    This list of questions seem to be asked each time we have the oppourtunity to bring in new scouting families. As with any list, this list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) never seems to be complete, but this short list should provide some basic answers.     General Pack 825 Information

    • When/Where does Pack 825 Meet?

    • Pack 825 meets once a month on the 3rd Thursday at Harold Schnell Elementary School in the Multipurpose Room (Cafeteria)
    • When/Where do the Den's for Pack 825 Meet?

    • The Den's of Pack 825 meets Thursdays at Harold Schnell Elementary School in the Multipurpose Room (Cafeteria).
    • What Time does the Den or Pack Meet?

    • The Pack meeting typically occurs at 6:30 on the scheduled Thursday night, however, that is subject to change if circumstances arise. The Den's also typically meet at 6:30 on thursday nights, but this is also subject to change per individual requirements or the Den leader's discretion.
    • What is a "Pack"?

    • A "Pack" is all of the Den's of a local Cub Scout organization combined.
    • What is a "Den"?

    • A "Den" is an idividual group of Scouts at each grade level. 1st Graders are "Tigers". 2nd Graders are "Wolfs" 3rd Graders are "Bears" and 4th anf 5th Grdaers are "Webelos". Each "Den" may have a various number of members. If there are enough kids joining Cub Scouts from a certain grade, there may be multiple Dens created for that Cub Scout level.
    • What does joining Pack 825 cost?

    • The fees for joining Pack 825 change from year to year for various reasons. However, the dues for the 2008 school year are as follows: $22 for the whole year. This covers pack meetings, blue and gold banquet, scout's advancements for the year, Pinewood derby cars and trophies, Halloween party, Christmas party and much much more.
    • How many times a years do the Scouts go camping?

    • Typically twice a year. For the Pack, there is a Pack campout in the Fall. Then, each Den will have a Den campout of some sort. The Tigers, Wolfs and Bears have Cub Adventure in the Sping and the Webelos have theirs own separate campout as well.

    Uniforms and clothing:

    • Where do I buy the clothing and other items for my Scout?

    • Cub scout uniforms and other clothing can be purchased in several ways. Hand me down T-Shirts and uniforms can be found sometimes at garage sales and or on websites like EBay. For new items, they can be purchased at the Scout Shop (see Maps page for directions) or sometimes the Pack will hold a T-Shirt sale for Pack 825 T-Shirts.
